Best resort to start the season, you're guaranteed to ski in early december thanks to the altitude and plenty of snow cannon. If you want be litterally on the slopes, stay at Avoriaz, if you want something traditional avoid it at all cost.
OVERVIEW
The biggest resort that sits very close to Geneva airport, and actually one of the biggest in the world. There is a huge variety of slopes and it's fun to think that you can cross the border as it spans from France to Switzerland. Sounds great, then why does it feel so flat? Seems like you always have to go through flat parts with hardly any slopes to get from one point to another and that can seriously cramp your style.
